Wildside: Hip Hop on Tour is a fly-on-the-wall account of the reality of touring as an independent musician in Australia.

In November 2010 three Australian hip hop acts embarked on a tour called ‘Wildside’. Class A, The Tongue and Spit Syndicate have been on the hip hop scene for many years now and with their recent respective album releases, it seemed like the perfect time to hit the road. 

However, as well as performing they were on their own dealing with every logistical challenge — sound guys, accommodation, merchandise, flights, and a tight budget. Documentary maker Mike Williams was there to catch every painful low and adrenaline-filled high.
